Shelley Toye is a British soprano, based in the United Kingdom.  She has been singing professionally at home and abroad since the age of twelve.  Performing solo at prestigious venues including The Royal Opera House, The Coliseum, The Royal Festival Hall, Teatro Lirico (Sardinia) and as part of the Salzburg Festival. 

Some of her notable performances are; The Turn Of The Screw BrittenThe Magic Flute Mozart, Street Scene Weill, The Cunning Little Vixen Janacek, Carmen Bizet and Peter Grimes Britten.  

She has worked alongside stars such as Sir Thomas Allen, Sir Robert Tear, Lillian Watson, Sir Simon Rattle and many more.

In tandem with her operatic work, Shelley established herself as a successful crossover artist in chart topping girl band Girls@Play.  The group achieved two Top Twenty hits and completed two successful Uk arena tours culminating at London's famed Wembley Arena. Whilst touring shelley also studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama gaining a BMUS honours degree in classical singing under professors Theresa Gobel and Robin Bowman.

In addition to Girls@Play, Shelley was a member of classical crossover group Sirena.  Her time with the group took her to Nashville, Tennessee.  Here she wrote an album with internationally acclaimed song writer Sharon Vaughn.  Sirena performed their material on tour as special guests of classical group G4.  They also supported acclaimed English Tenor, Alfie Boe, in concert at the Canterbury Cathedral.  

Shelley regularly performs at  prestigious corperate events, private parties, gala dinners, weddings and ceremonies.
